I have a n.chromatus molted two days ago, where do I go from here? Do I find a female and mate it? How does that work? Just wanted some insight for it.

If you want the go the route of mating it and doing a breeding loan, go that route. If you prefer not, then keep it hydrated and let nature take its course. You can put an add in the classifieds here seeking mate.

Is there any requirement for posting in the classifieds section?(found it) Doesn't seem like I can. I'd like to find a mate, a loan is risky is it not?

I could be wrong, but I think you might need some type of permission to post there. I would say the biggest risk you run is your T getting chomped when trying to pair. But there are a lot of reputable breeders here, so I’m sure a deal could be worked out in the event of that happening. Here’s a link to answer your classified questions https://arachnoboards.com/help/classifieds/ if you have any other further questions, @ a moderator and I’m sure they can line you out. Hope this helps.

Sell your male- breeding loans with people are not a good idea with people you don’t know.

I would consider selling over loaning, not only for the risk of losing the T to a hungry female but also because shipping and multiple rehousings seem like a lot of stress. You could be lucky and find someone close by that you could drive to.

Ultimately though, I think I would rather keep mine and let nature take it's course for my more common ones.

If you have the connections, I would attempt breeding the male...either by finding a female to purchase or working out a breeding loan agreement with someone that you trust.
