You can't go wrong with a B. auratum.

A tip for you and other noobs is to order several T's at a time. It saves you on shipping costs and keeps you busy until you can get more.:D
Yeah and ensures even if you get some of the "pet holes," maybe one or two will be out when you want to peek. :D

Think I will just go for it and get more in Spring since the ones I have aren't overbearing me ( ) and I have plenty of food. Got thousands of pinhead crickets, tons of adult crickets and I can't open the waxworm container at the moment because of all the moths. I'm gonna need to find a place to fish at this rate. {D{D{D

OH yes !

I think i´m kinda off scale about having tarantulas...

About 3monts ago i was really scared of tarantulas(have allways been affraid of spider ! big time), my hair on my arms was raising sky-high just looking at a picture

I live in denmark, so tarantulas arent common here. The only hybrid tarantula we have is a Atypus affinis. They arent big, aprox. 8cm(3"). I live in a little town where Atypus affinis is doing well. I slaughter(yes it sounds brutal, but i was affraid, very affraid !) a couple off them in my room, and was actually so affraid of them, that i could´t sleep at night and didnt use my room very much!

I then decided to get rid of the fobi... And bought 2 tarantulas so i could face my fobi :worship: The fobi is more-or-less gone now and i LOVE tarantulas today.

And yes i´m hooked... Big time! Can´t get enough of them. Spending 2-5hours daily getting info on the ones i have, and the ones i´m going to get :p

And so far i have A. Seemanni 5-6", S.Rubronitens 7.5"(likely female) and my 1" G. Rosea sling. It was named as a "super red form" whatever that means.

Sorry for the roman btw ;)

P.S. I like Labs. They are a bit stupid/naive hehe

I was thinking the same thing, but this guy is in Canada. He would have to contact Paul and see if he can ship there. I have a feeling he doesn't.
Haha yeah, thats half my battle in getting T's. Theres tons of suppliers in the US with plenty of selection. Here in Canada, theres not half as many suppliers, most with a limited selection, none i've found that have a B.Aura :(

Sorry to hear that. There is always boehmei's, klaasi's, smithi's and emilia's. They have that orange and black going on for them too. Just different patterns. They may not be as hard to find. Good luck on whatever you choose.

There's a Canadian subforum here. Failing that, you might want to talk to forestpengra...I think. I can't recall the spelling. And Jon3800 on Youtube has a lot of T's as well and is in Canada.

"Tonight on A&E 'Intervention,' we look into the realm of arachnoholics and the guy who sold his car for spiders. Then it's an all-new 'Hoarders.' " :D
