Hey all. Someone posted a few weeks ago about attaching acrylic to the side of a DIY enclosure for a tarantula for more of a view from the side. I tried using the search to find the thread so I can ask if he had any luck but I couldn't find it. Has anyone done this? I remember reading that thinner acrylic might be better as it's more flexible for the side and someone mentioned possibly using rivets to attach it? Any insight would be appreciated.

Omg I just typed "rivets" in the search after I posted this and I found the thread. Don't crucify me lol.

Thinner acrylic will have a greater probability of warping over time.

Those were my thoughts as well. I'll look through the other thread and figure out what my options are after more research

Depending on the material plain ol clear silicone caulking works awesome for attaching the acrylic window and seems easier than rivets. Doesn't work on all plastics though
