Acanthoscurria Musculosa Again ??

Some Acanthoscurrias, such as this, are not easily identified. It's difficult to id by picture. Sometimes it takes examination of a fresh molt, looking over the shape and size of various features. All I know is that A. musculosa is a very dark brown to black color, nearly black if not black. Here are various descriptive papers that you can order from a local library or college library. It would be the best information on actually accurately identifying this species.

I'm in the same boat as you with an Acanthoscurria species I have! I have three pairs (male/female) which were being sold as both A. musculosa and A. chacoana. I have yet to figure out what they really are, though A. cordubensis has also been suggested to me.
