Just got A. seemanni...Are they all that fast?!?! Critter nearly gave me a heart attack!

I hear that, over all, they're good Ts. How do you all think they are? This one was all calm in the car, but when I put her in her temp. tank (large round K.K. with about 4 in. of substrate) she flipped and started running around like crazy.

How long should I wait before feeding her, and will she always be this crazy?

P.S. This is the first spider that's ever actually made me jump LoL

A. seemanni is one of my favorites. it was my 2nd t, and yes she is fast. i have handled her twice, but it seems to cause her undue anxiety so i dont do it anymore. mine stays in her deep burrow most of the time. she will also put her urticating hairs to use if annoyed. definately a great t, both in looks and character.

Yep...all of the ones I have dealt with have been 8 legged bullet trains!

The only thing I have thats faster is a C.Paganus

So, shall I take that as she's pretty docile, despite being flighty? Like I said before, this was the only spider that's ever made me jump, and I've been playing with spiders since I knew what they were. One of my earliest memories, actually...
