IMO H.Mac is as white as it gets :rolleyes:

Metriopelma sp. "Estado Trujillo" has some extremely white legs, especially when freshly molted.

There are white spiders that never encounter snow. For large animals, white would be an advantage in snow - and conspicuous in other environments. But for small animals there are a lot more opportunities. White crab spiders can hide very effectively in white flowers. Larger spiders may find microenvironments in which being white could be an advantage. Or - there are situations in which color is irrelevent. Such as caves. Many cave adapted animals are pale or white.
understood bill but we are talking T's not other spiders...i believe i mentioned it in one of the posts, that i am aware of white spiders and did mentioned it served a purpose for them but we are talking t's....not apples to apples
