For the past two days, my A. versicolor has been sitting out in the open of her enclosure. It seems a bit odd a behavior to me, but she's been perfectly healthy. Is there anything I'm missing?

Does she stay out, even if you move the cage or open it? Mine are out alot, but as soon as I pull a cage off a shelf, they're quick to hide.

She's calm when I open it up. Oddly enough, she doesn't seem to mind my hand coming into the cage at all.

mine is in that stage now too....
mine was very flighty for the first few months, but now she is calming down, and spends more time on top of her web and isn't so quick to hide....

I'm not gonna complain and neither should you... just enjoy that cerulean blue baby:)

My versi hangs out at the top of the vial... she used to run out every time I opened the top but now that I've had her a few weeks, she made herself a web at the top and doesn't move when I take the top off :) So maybe yours is just comfortable with you?
