Yeh i was quite confused with the whole experience. The spider was obviously being handled wrong. It was probably frightened. And he was just letting it inject venom into him.... It is just plain Stupidity. He wont be feeling good in the morning that's for sure.

Also in the second video you can see a bunch of toilet paper with what i assume is venom on it. And if it is. My lord that is alot

Spiders do not suck through their fangs, only inject. They suck through their stomach. Technically I guess the guy was sucking out the venom which is what people do with snake bites ot scorpion bites.

I definately do not agree with anything this guy did. Definately an interesting video. But I guess he was already playing with the spider and got bit, than he seized the opportunity to make a video log out of it to post up on youtube.

USMC sweater lol. This vid just proves what MARINE stands for - Muscles Are Required Intelligence Not Essential. It was not meant as any offense actually, I have A LOT of Marine friends. I just like giving them a good-natured hard time about it... they're actually military intel and brilliantly smart. As wrong as those vids are, I must say one thing: That is a true example of courage under fire. I'd have had that sweater off as soon as it crawled aboard, and that beautiful baboon would have been back in his cage with a padlock and sitting inside a safe for awhile..

Thanks for the info ( and taking my post literally ) The point of my post was that he had a bug......sorry arachnid, on his finger then he put it in his mouth. Its still gross.

Its adds proof to some peoples minds, and can lead to more laws being passed.:wall:
I can tell you from being in the reptile community for 40 yrs this guy is doing no favors to Tarantula keepers, Im surprised this guy has not been banned from the boards.
