I know some of you look at your T's as "children" in a way. I typically am on the fence about the term. However, when I saw her, I feel in love!!! I ordered some new T's (as some of you already know) from Bryan at Michigan Arachnid Breeders. Well the whole reason for my order was for my C. darlingi, as I have been wanting one of them for a very long time now. Well I got her and transfered her. Then I opened the last T I ordered. A 3.5" confirmed Female OBT. It was like love at first sight! Don't get me wrong, I love my darlingi, but now after seeing her, I feel like this whole order was about her! When actually she was really more of an afterthought. This is my 4th OBT. But the other 3 are slings. Anyway, enough rambling. Here's the picture! Her name is Pandora!

Mah, could just be a well-fed spider but you could always call MAB and see if they've ever paired her and no molt occured.

He did say that she molted not to long ago. I doubt he'd sell a breed female. I'm going with the latter and saying well fed. But if she is knocked up, then so be it. I'll be selling babies at a very cheap rate! But knowing that they're OBT's I'll probably be keeping a good 10 or 20 for myself. LOL.

I love the set up for her. Is the skull hollow so she has a place to hide?

I still don't have a Tarantula yet and can't wait to set up a really well made vivarium. I want to make it look completely natural with logs and wood and plants...

I really like the setup as well.

When my spiders are all grown I am going to give all of them a unique enclosure.

I really like the idea of putting my pokie in the ruins of Greek pillars.

What? :? I think the op was talking about how beautiful these species are... and i happen to agree with him!!!! So how is it over rated??? i can see it being inflated... they do come dime a dozen in the hobby..... But it doesn't make them over rated!!! Really????

Thank you everyone for the great complements! I hope that I'm lucky enough that the rest of my OBT's grow up to be as pretty as she is. If she is gravid I'll be selling the babies on here. However, I'll probably keep 10 or 20 for myself. LOL.
