I have a question for anyone who keeps this species. Is this species known to fast as long as a rosea. I have had mine since the first week of March and it has not eaten a thing, it is plump and healthy looking and about 2 1/4". Nothing outwardly appears wrong with the spider, just not feeding.

Doug,
Thanks, I just wondered if mine was odd in doing this. Like you said, it doesn't look like a molt is imminent or anything just not interested in food. It is very fat and healthy looking...so who knows???

hi Vupina.
Mine would fast for long periods of time also. With a fat abdomen, like you said, I wouldn't worry much.
