A. geniculata with hiccups!

Well back on the topic of the spider "hiccuping" they sorta do a jerking thing like that as they molt

Yeah, but this was 2 days after she had thrown the old exo out so at least if not more than 2 days after the molt. One thing though, she was doing it by herself before i disturbed her too, but she escalated the movements after I opened the cage to refill the water dish and misted a bit. She also moved around a bit, pausing the "hiccups" while she moved and resuming them when she stopped. But as I said, it stopped a little while after I started this thread and hasn't done it in my presence since.

Theory:Maybe this is the tarantula version of rocking back and forth in the corner drowning in it's own madness? What does the lore say about mental health in tarantulas?
