A. Borealis/A. Seemanni Mature Molt - Sp still questionable...

Well, my A. Borealis/A. Seemanni had his mature molt tonight. There was a lot of confusion on what Sp this is...it resembles both the Borealis and Seemanni - though more the Borealis than the Seemanni...here's some before and after pics and a video of the molt with some questions. Maybe this will help clarify what Sp this guy is. I am sending the molt to crpy for potential help identifying it. There's two threads below you may want to check out first - dicussions on what Sp this is....lots of good photos & info!

Cool, very interesting, I dont think its A. seemanni, but hopfully we will see.

I looked up some pictures of mature male A. seemanni, and he DOES look like them, at least on the surface. We'll probably never know for sure what he is though. I could not find any pictures of mature male A. borealis.

Yeah, we couldn't find any either...hopefully crpy can make a determination through the molt...

Tried to get some pics of him but when we took the lid off the enclosure, he bolted and fell. Looks like several legs are broken and there's a little blood. Rob is using some liquid band-aid right now (his wife is typing this) to try to help him...doing what he can for him. He is so upset...as am I. It's so sad...we're both in tears and hoping for the best. We took some video and will be posting a new thread... Rob's already blaming himself so please, no flaming (not that anyone would, but you never know)...lesson learned. Getting some good pics of a post molt just isn't worth it....
