Some of you may recall my pic of my Nhandu coloratovillosus:

I've been assuming that it was female based on external characteristics but there was always that lingering doubt as none of its moults were sexable. Well, it moulted today and the doubt is definitely gone

Got her as a wee 1.25" sling about a year ago. It is one fast growing species.

I'm going to give her at least one more moult to get some size on her, she's looking to only be about 5.5, maybe a hair over 6 inches in leg span. Plus, this was the first time the spermathecae presented themselves clearly. But then, she will definitely be taking out an ad in the Invertsonals as I want to breed this girl.

What a beauty! One of the sweetest T's I ever owned was a N.caropoensis. Molted to a male. But he lived on to see many lovely ladies. This particular spider would crawl up my arm to take a cricket from the tweezers. What a guy!
My next Nhandu caropoensis was a female and a witch!
