What is young? Spiderling, juvenile? I would thing (having heard some prices in America) that 12.99 is a very good price for a juvenile, don't know if you can get slings cheaper?

Sling or not, that's a very fair price for a pinktoe. A hatchling sling will generally cost from $7-$15, so whatever it's size and age (barring being a mature male on its 6th month of its ultimate instar), you won't go wrong for that price.

I had to pay 30 dollars Canadian for a juvenile and 40 dollars another time so I think you are getting a bargain.
