1. What instar would a 4cm pandinus imperator be?

2. Is the mortality rate high or low for young emperors during molting?

3. How often do you feed a 4cm emperor?

4. Is it possible to tell the sex of a 4cm emperor if there are nine others of its siblings to compare with?

1. Normally I would assume that when it's that size from front of thorso to outstretched tail that it would be second or third instar.

2. Depends on the circumstances, how they are kept. If they are kept in a hungry community the mortality rate is likely to be very high. If they are kept single under good contitions the mortality rate is low.

3. Until the abdomen looks well nourished/full without the plates on the back separating

4. Possible? Yes. Certain? I wouldn't bet my money on it.
