3 Ootheca limit Right?

My mantis is full grown and has been for about 4 months now. She has created 3 eggsacs. Well they are actually more like egg chunks because the sac is hard but I know you all know that. Anyways I read on the net and have been advised by anotehr keeper that they usually have three and then die. Is my big bad bug gonna die anytime now? What are the signs of their impending death?

I've had Chinese mantids lay 6 or more.

Altthough your mantid is approaching the end, she may live a few more months. I've heard of them lasting as long a January!

I hope it lasts a really long time. I hate how they have such short lifespans.
