I want to put one into a 10 gallon tank as it's hard to work on her tank...she's always in my way lol!

What's the best way to cover your tank? I know mesh is a no-no last I checked and I'm not the best DIYer. Thanks for any info!

Take the measurements and go to Lowe's or Home Depot. They'll cut the acrylic for you. Drill or melt some holes for ventilation, and you've got yourself a tarantula-safe lid! You can also order pre-made ones like this from Etsy if you're not in the mood for making one yourself.

Make sure you get 1/8 not 1/4 or you'll never get vent holes drilled.

Update:
Only writing that because when I first started I made the mistake of ordering 1/4 acryllic off Amazon not thinking about it. Long story what happened to that sheet of acryllic.

Expanded metal mesh.
If you dont mind that, lids for regular ten gallon tanks are usually readily available at pet stores. Just be aware, you will be filling water dishes much more frequently.

If you're not a good "Do-it-yourselfer" you can buy these (two links below)

Some like this are for "Arboreal" but work the same for terrestrials. It's just a lid that fits into a standard 10 gal lid rim. Just silicone the rim and place it in, done.
