At 58 days the sling has died. Last night I tried to feed a horn worm. It batted at it a couple of times and then retreated. This morning it was in a death curl and 99% sure it had died. I put it in an ICU just in case but nothing.
Thanks everyone for your input.
That's sad...I'm sorry man.

Thanks for the kind words.
I picked up another one for a good price. The new one is in another enclosure. Same size ventilation etc. etc.
It is a good eater, active and thriving. It has already molted once.

It can very well be normal behavior. Though not the best, I have had a P.ornata go about 2 months without eating. However she was about 6 inches in size at that point and I made sure she was well hydrated at all times. I did switch her food from b.dubia roaches to crickets and it kick started her feeding again. Have not had any other issues with her since (going on 2 years). Maybe try switching your T's prey of choice? Be patient and hope all works out for you.

I’m afraid the same thing is currently happening to my young adult female P. Metallica. I’ve had 1 recently do this before and she did eventually just end up dying like this as well. I will keep monitoring her for signs of nematodes but for now she has none. It is very interesting that I did have the other female that had the same feeding response next to this one’s enclosure and now this one is refusing food. My temps are between 72 - 77 degrees and she is not in premolt. Will update next week if she eats.
