I reached out to Walt a month or so ago because he had a 0.1 Grammostola anthracina I wanted. I held off, but circled back a few weeks later. This time, I was interested in most of what he was selling from his collection's downsizing. We spoke and came to an agreement on a good price. He ordered the packaging to house 11 tarantulas for shipping to CA from AL. He communicated often as to what the status was for each step of the process. I paid him and within a few hours, he was packaging the T's and getting them ready to ship for the next day. As I'm writing this (2/15/23), they're in my possession less than 24hrs from when they were packaged to their final destination. They were all packaged very well and labeled appropriately. They all appear to be very healthy and taken care of.
It's not often that you come across good people who are trustworthy off a one-off purchase. Despite this not being a common sale for him, I would gladly purchase from him again. Should you find yourself seeing something he might be selling, you won't be disappointed. He exceeded customer service than many retailers in the hobby offer.
