Circumstance
Steatoda triangulosa bite report:

Yesterday I had an incident with my adult female Steatoda triangulosa while trying to photograph her. She was on my hand and ended up hanging on a line of silk from my finger. I tried to scoop her back up and being a little impatient I gently grabbed her.. It was a stupid mistake on my part but it felt like tiny pinpricks on the base of my index finger. Over the next few hours I experienced mild burning in my finger and a sort of tingling in my hand (so I was envenomated). After 5 hours or so there were no lasting effects besides a small red mark where I was tagged. There has been controversy on whether these spiders are particularly threatening, and I think it's safe to say that non localized effects are minimal (at least in this case).

Aside from mild pain and redness, there were no serious venom effects. After 5 hours or so there were no lasting effects besides a small red mark where I was tagged.
