Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. I ordered two Xenesthis Immanis slings on April 1st. I got them on sale for $75 each and paid $55 shipping. I'd purchase again if he had what I wanted in stock!
First, the good: Packaging was great. He put heat packs in because it was cold where he is located. The babies were safe and secure in vials and one of them even came running out when we started pulling the moist tissue out of the vial. Very lively and adorable! Both of them are doing very well!
Now for the not-so-good: I paid $55 for shipping that I assumed (yes, I assumed = my fault) was going to be overnight because of the price, but it went FedEx 2Day, which retail price of that shipping service from his location to mine costs $21.62 on the FedEx site. I'm glad there were heat packs when he sent it due to his weather, but I was kind of concerned when it sat on a truck most of the day (they were delivered after 4pm) when the high for my area the day it was delivered was 85+. It was also concerning because I never received any sort of tracking information when he did send them. I finally emailed him the morning of the 8th (the day they got here) to see if they had been shipped out or when they would ship out so I could know when to expect them. He then gave me the tracking number and told me they'd be delivered that day. The package was also not marked with anything like "Fragile", "Live", etc.
