I am not sure if it's possible to check the molt for the parts at L1, but it's definitely worth a try! Can you send pictures of the molt if possible? Thanks.
Ah ok, I have tried to take a pic of the moult but the camera doesnt focus. I will buy a scope soon and post you a pic. Frim what I can see there is some sort of structure there not a hollow as would a male have. Unless this structure goes next moult we will see. It looks like a shape but without the ends of the ribbon like the bottom bit and its inverted away from the moult slightly, so there is something there appose to nothing..
As long as you can move this structure like a growth, I would be very confident to say this is female. I believe males do not have prominent accessory organs

I took some clearer photos of the underside today, finally got the set up right! What do you think? The first pic disguised how much of a slit there is! I will add a moult pic also asap.
Ok so I was able to find some sort of red structure in each of the corners from the possible female Appophysis L1 moult. Its far from spermathicae like but it is a L1 moult wil a book lung gap of 2mm and slit probably 1mm. I looked at a adult male auratum moult and found no structures in the corners. I think it may possibly be early spermathicae growth. I will include pictures of other undeveloped spermathicae for comparison. Cheers.
Any news about that all? Do you guys have figure out the genus of your T. Apo. ?
If yes, pics would be great to help for the ones who saw this topic years ago.
