These are super cool social velvet spiders, they actually are meant to be kept in large numbers. I love these spiders, they're some of my favorite. You should try starting a colony sometime!

Yes, I wish I could have gotten multiple but unfortunately my friend only had one. If I ever see them for sale I’ll definitely do a colony. Although I’ve read conflicting information on lineatus, that it might be sub social but not 100% social like other Stegodyphus. Have you kept lineatus?
