My daughters somehow managed to put 5 mealworms in Sloan's enclosure (instead of 2) & I literally just watched her eat ALL FIVE! Should I be concerned O.o
Haha, no need to worry but there is a good chance it might not eat for a while. I'd just wait a few weeks before feeding again. :)
 
I would think about how the enclosure is secured. Even though this species isn't a highly defensive tarantula it does jump prey and could bite a child if they got there hands in there. Make sure they can't do that and they understand what not to do around a tarantula. It's great they are interested in tarantulas. Best of luck.
 
She is very well secured & the girls used tongs, my 9 year old just kept putting them in there because her litter sister enjoyed watching Sloan chase them down lol
 
its always funny to watch how Ts stuff faces with multiple pray items like greedy hamsters :astonished:
 
I don't want to spoil the fun, but if you're wandering whether or not you should be concerned, why did you let it happen? Have you no control over what is happening to the T?o_O
