Absolutely gorgeous, certainly a true spider species I'd love to have, if it weren't for the fact they have an irreversibly necrotic *guaranteed to die if bitten* tag attached to them lol... I think I'll stick to my 9" p. rufilatas xD. Even though I hear they are docile, and will play dead opposed to any deliberate biting if provoked :3 nice pic!
 
Ah, here we are a few months later back at the photo that started it all. I recently acquired a 3/4" S. terrosus from Amanda @tarcan and wow what an amazing species to watch! Thanks again for sharing this picture @Prototype. If you don't mind me asking, how often do these molt? How long (if fed around 1-2 a month) does it take to reach maturity? I've scoured through so many threads but haven't been able to obtain this info, considering they are so long-lived I'm in the dark!
