I bought this little lady unidentified. The dealer had ordered a differant T. They suggested I look into the Sericopelma genus for an sp.
She looks a "worn", so I'm guessing these are the colors she has before a mold.
It could be Sericopelma rubronitens or S. communis. The striped patellae, broad carapace and very large chellicerae reminiscent of T. blondi, all say to me Sericopelma. After a molt the colors will be much deeper brown to black with brilliant blood-red abdominal setae.
Beautiful spider!
