Sold as A. purpurea as a sling. Any idea what this is?
Lol who keeps selling these false Purpurea's?

Second thread like this I have seen this week.

Definitely not a Purpurea, but can't exactly tell you what it is either. There are several Avics with a purplish sheen to them. Maybe Avicularia Juruensis?

How big is it? It kind of does look like a juvenile juronesis mt 2.....but if its an adult, I would go with an A. avic

Avicularia juruensis M#2 (aka urticans or sp. Peru Purple) These get sold as purpurea all the time. Probably because the stupid commons Ecuadorian Purple Pink Toe vs Peruvian Purple Pink Toe. Often times the label gets shortened to simply Purple Pink Toe and there you go. 🤷‍♂️ The irony here is both species inhabit both of these neighboring countries. 😅 I dont know where you're seeing Avicularia avicularia, @cold blood ?
