P. rufilata

Dear friends, pls, and how bout this? Could some help?

Thank you.
Hm, strange :-( When I compare to pics from tomorrow, I see a difference. I tried to put one picture over the second in a graphic program, for example, book lungs are absolutelly different :-( Do you know why if both are males?

@Zdell Vac Because tarantulas aren't clones. Individuals will always be different. There are certain things you look for when you are determining sex and those are differnt things in different genera of tarantulas. In Poecilotheria you look for a 'white dot' or a dent in the line of the furrow. If it's there your tarantula is male. Both of your rufilatas look male.

@boina Hallo, ok. I already added pics of both side by side. I am amateur, but the differences seems to be really big. Also, you write about white dot. But, at first pics, could not be the white dot only flash reflection??

@Zdell Vac Are they the same size? There will be some changes as they grow.

I'll see about getting ventral pics of my female poecs to help you understand. They are one of the easiest genera to vent sex.

@Nightstalker47 Yes, the age and size are the same, I have them from small slings, now they are about 2 1/2" legspan (7cm). Would you have similar pics of your female rufilata to compare?
