I'd say female, and you're right about the legs. Here's my girl at a bit over 4" with her chunky rear legs.


They're an awesome species. Did yours stridulate when you were moving it?

Im glad it came out female. It was a freebie from a guy that wanted his spiders to go to a good home.

Oh yeah, and it’s super audible too. I just rehoused her after about a week and several meals. She molted maybe two weeks ago.

A few of my spiders have stridulated but not nearly as audible. Several of my adult Asian species have done it and it threw me for a loop.
