0.1 Pelinobius muticus - 4.25" DLS

My young P. muticus lady got a rehouse tonight, so I was able to take some pics before she went underground again. I think they are an awesome species, subtly beautiful. Kind of cranky, but nothing I couldn't handle.
So cute! Even though some would say they're just a "brown spider", I think they're so pretty.
They are. She's actually much more of a carrot-orange color in person, it just doesn't show up well in photos. I also like the banding around the legs. The really cool thing about them that I don't think most people know is that they stridulate when they're feeling threatened. A big, hissing spider flashing it's fangs can really get your blood pressure up!
