"The dot" is still faintly visible here, I am pretty confident it is male. Between the posterior ends of the anterior pair of book lungs runs the epigastric furrow. This area for Poecilotheria males will often have a circular patch of contrasting colour (differing to the surrounding setae). These differently coloured setae are the epiandrous fusillae, which is why they are only present in males.
