@JoshDM020 I've never seen them in the pet trade but we used to catch them as kids. One of the things my grandpa taught me is in NC any snake with orange or red on its belly isn't venomous.
@cold blood The ones we have down here are 14 inches max avg 9 inches. One of the ladies said be careful the little ones are more venomous than the big ones. While she wasn't wrong the snake has to be venomous to start with for that to matter.
@Trenor yeah that's a great pic man....but yes, same snake, tops out at about 15", anfd that's a huge one...most are 9, 10"...most people encountering them either don't notice, or mistake them for an earthworm.
