Nhandu chromatus
Nice! I have a 1.5" female arriving Tuesday, really excited! Love how you have your water dish packed up to the rim, but still about ground level. What'd you use to do that? Looks different from the rest of the substrate.

@Arachnophoric Congrats, you'll love her!

I used some "excavator clay" I think the brand is zoo med. It's pretty neat, I mix it with water till it's thick and muddy, then just form it around the cup. I pull the cup out and sprinkle some dry clay on the mud so it dries a little quicker and doesn't seal up around the water dish so that I can replace it when I need to. I'm hoping I find less substrate in the water dish this way!

(It's a little pricey, but it's cool stuff. I mix it with cocofiber if I want the sub to be a little more dense as well.)

@Mirandarachnid I certainly hope so, Tuesday can't come fast enough!

That's actually a pretty clever way to try and keep the substrate out of the dish, although if your little one is anything like my A. seemanni, she'll just carry substrate from across the enclosure to specifically dump in the water dish. :grumpy:

I'll definitely need to look into that stuff. May have a nice enclosure project coming up here soon, might be something worth incorporating into it. :)

@Arachnophoric Yeah... I feel like that may happen, but hopefully she just entertains herself by undoing my landscaping :rofl:

I found it at petsmart, but I bet you can get it off amazon :)
