After a shed the other day, my baby ball python Marlow is happy to be out of his terrarium and free to go on his snake wanderings around my room(within sight of course).
@MatisIsLoveMantisIsLyf haha my mother was so displeased whith the whole idea, then she met him and the first thing that comes out of her mouth is "well I guess a snake isnt so bad, just dont expect me to buy any feeders!" I was like ' give it two weeks tops until I come home to find her cuddling whith him... ' it took a week and a half before I caught her in my room petting him, its funny how she actually pays him more attention than my skink XD
My mother accepts most pets.but she doesn't dislike snakes, she's feared of them escaping. When i was about to get my first reptile, my bearded dragon, she was a bit scared, but when she saw him, she immediately petted him. One day I'll get a snake Xd. Althought to be honest, I don't really want to. I don't find them as interesting as other pet reptiles, just very cool to have.
@MatisIsLoveMantisIsLyf this is reeeaaally late but hes honestly just as interesting as my lizard, certainly more handleable than my t's and amphibians lol. They all have thier own personality and can be socialized to be friendlier like any clever creature and hes better tempered than my BT skink by far unlike my skink, Marlow is the one i trust not to take off cause he's so chill(he slowly noodles around the object nearest to me). Hes certainly not very independent so far lol.
