They better not be expecting an easy pairing for themselves, it's taken me 3 years to get successful captive pairing without the males dying in the process
Yep, just caught a bunch of these spiders the other week and each has mites. They are not the nasty ones though, and seem to both scavenge food and eat other mites that hop on board. I get tiny populations of grain mites in my setups from time to time, but never in any of my Australothele setups
