Millipede roaming the earth

Is this Narceus sp.? I'm new to looking closely at millipedes. Mt. Rogers Recreation Area, Virginia (USA)
Well, I am late to the party! I was going to say N. annularis as well. So you have an amateur consensus which may carry more weight than taxonomy. :rolleyes: Beautiful specimen, BTW! In addition to the "hood" the males are often 1/3 smaller.
 
This was on a salamander photography expedition, and I'm sure I saw 10 or 15 these beautiful millipedes on the first day. I've seen only 2 in Western NY state, ever.
