On a note: is it Brachypelma emilia? If you purchased it as "unsexed" and then found out it was male (by molt of course) then it was worth whatever you paid for it (within reasonable price range of an unsexed specimen of its size for that particular species). If you purchased it as a male and it is B. emilia, the average cost for a mature male is $150 because they're a tad difficult to run by. For a 3" male, I wouldn't pay more than $60-75 for it but that's just me. It all depends on how bad you want it and the availability of it.
***just read you purchased as female- I would be livid, lol.....anyway, a 3" female emilia would run you around $125-150.***
@jazamataz Damn, well like @Casey K had said if unsexed when purchased then that's the risk we all take, if it was confirmed f and it's male I'd keep in contact with seller for exchange or compensation.
