Its actually plastic (pretty old and brittle plastic too)
It was a very very old beta fish tank from when i was a kid (about 25 yrs old).
I used it intermittantly for T's over the tears before i knew heat pads were not a good idea then used it for red eyed tree frogs. Most recently, it was for my female versacolor (bout 4 yrs ago) and i simply never took the heat pads off lol i dont use them though
