Looks like Haplopelma albostriatum to me.

Wow, thanks for your help! Any idea what happens if it bites me? Have a few of them around my house and probably more than a few....

bite apparently hurts alot, although I would hazard it is more likely minax as the striations on the pattelae are not pronounced enough

Definately Haplo, but could be one of a few, even longipes or schmidti look similar
