I live in Sumner, WA found running across the floor and trapped it. According to my co-workers it is fast, but i have P. Irminia and OBT Tarantulas so to me it was slow... Also curls up and looks like it "plays dead"? No distinct markings.
Trapdoor spider! Don't get bitten! If you plan on keeping it you'll need to give it at least 8" of burrowing space so it can make a hole with a trapdoor. If you do this you will only see flashes of it at feeding time.
I'm not familiar with trapdoor spiders on the nomenclature level, so maybe someone can specify from here.
