Helios Molt 12-19-18

Helios, my P. irminia, molted a few days back. It is about 4" L.S. now. It appears leggy with a smaller abdomen. I believe it is a male. The Molt looks male to me.

Can you experts please offer you thoughts and opinions.

That's a blindingly obvious female.

And every tarantula is leggy with a small abdomen after a molt.

Is it the two red parallel lines between the upper lungs? Sorry, I am new to the hobby. Also, thanks you for your help. You've helped me on several occasions now.

I guess I was looking for more of a flap. But she's a juvenile with a lot of growing to do.

@03ISA Different genera have different spermathecae shapes. Some are fused, and others look like weird antennae.

I always find it helpful to search this gallery for my genus to see examples of females so I know what I'm looking for.
