Hides aren't homes, they are merely the start of a potential burrow.
Like literally any animal, if its at a dead end, its only going to make for a defensive animal, as its basically always cornered...not very relaxing for the animal to be backed into a corner at only a few inches.
@cold blood oh bcuz for my curly hair I have cork hide 5 or six inches into dirt but it’s dead end at container. Is this bad he doesn’t really use it tho. Just webs around it.
@semmy juarez That's not a dead end in this sense....the t can move sub and increase the back end as much as it likes. It would be able to burrow beneath....now if its backed up right against the side of the enclosure, that's not the best placement, simply move it more toward the middle of the enclosure.
