This is the other "G. Rosea" I rehomed today and again I would say looks more like G. Porteri. Anyways this one they had since 2008, so probably a even older specimen. They are both super docile as they were used in presentations. Im super happy to give both these girls a good home.
I have two of these tykes and both have turned out to be male. I usually have better luck with Grammostola, but not with these guys. I still hope to find a female for sale, but it is very unlikely that I will. :(
When anyone poses the question, “Is my ___ in pre-molt?” We can link to this with the caption, “If it looks like this.” Isn’t this textbook though? Little round mat, all spread out ready to jump into the new clothes. Doesn’t get anymore pre-molt than this. BTW: little G. rosea.
