Bulbous pedipalps?

Not a mature male. Not only do the pedipalps of mature males look different from this, pink toed Avicularia males lose the pink toes on the pedipalps upon maturity.

I'm not too familiar with sexing this species or mature males, unless this individual isn't full-grown yet? I would think his size would indicate "maturity" without having a molt at my disposal. I do not see the emboli?

@CEC Actually, now that I see it, I do believe I see tibial hooks...which from what I would understand is characteristic of mature males.

This is definitely not a mature male. Size means nada... males mature at different sizes, I have seen up to 3" DLS difference in the same species.
Always best to look for emboli, as not all genera/species have tibial spurs (hooks) and some are so small they're hidden under the setae. Avicularia avicularia do have tibial spurs but I don't know what you're looking at? There's not a "hook" in that picture.

If you are looking at the middle section of that leg missing some setae, that's the metatarsus, not the tibia.
