M.balfouri male or female?
this beauty was sold to me as a male. But after comparing this guys size to a mature male i recently got ,he seems huge (the carapace and the legs were a bit thicker) . Made me wonder if the guy who sold him to me was wrong. What do you guys think? male or female?
Leaning male. Just going on the shape of top lungs. As Haksilence said, needs a moult to determine for sure

I jusr lost my big MM. As these sp. are sexually diamorphic you may be able to tell if its male by the sign of blue on any legs almost the whole way to the carapace. Females blue colouring doesn't usually beach into the femurs.

alright guys!thank you for the replies!the reason i was thinking he might be female was because this guy is just a little bit smaller than the mature female i have and a heck of a lot bigger than the mature male m.balfouri that I recently got.I'll definitely examine the next molt he's going to have.
