Gramfel in the Garden

One of my captive bred Bolds being released in the garden - they love the grape vines. Good luck, Gramfel! 🖤
These bolds are CB from WC parents, caught in our garden. Some of them have gone to friends and family just getting into the hobby, some have been released to the wild, and others I continue to keep.

I have been considering putting up an AB classified post offering them for free to other local enthusiasts willing to pick them up in person. Do you have any other suggestions? Not looking to monetize my love of these guys, I'm not a part of any invert communities beyond AB, and I'm allergic to social media.

I have enjoyed breeding my audax to satisfy my own curiosity, and I will continue to do so. But my collection does have its upper bounds. I'm not against the idea of selling some Bolds in the future to help recoup some of the costs of my hobby, but it's not in any near future plans. It'd be a dream to find another breeder willing to trade for other species of jumpers.

You could always ask local shops 😊 n not knocking what your doing I was just curious...most breed to sell not give away 😊. Its cool your giving them out, I like to do the same with my mm rather they got their chance then held out for £20 from their sale.

I think friends and family or a local shop are your best option plus a thread on ab 😉.

I am with you, ab n utube are as close as I get to most social media.
I did reopen my fb recently but for mm t's not to socialise 😆. Not a fan of ppl , t's n spiders yes ppl not so much 😂.

You could always make a thread on here, 'Shout out to all Oregon jumper keepers' I am uk so unfortunately can't help here .
You could also try Google for jumping spider breeders in your area and send out emails to see if they would be interested.
Shows are a great place to network too, they will have stalls specialising in jumpers. Going to even one could help you find a contact 😊.
I love jumpers so will keep my eye out on here for you. If I see anyone I will point them in your direction 😉.

Thanks so much for your advice and insights, I really appreciate it. I'll put together a post here on AB soon. I'm looking forward to attending whatever Invert show/expo comes to my neck of the woods in the future, but I don't have the means to travel very far. My partner has been suggesting I talk to our local pet stores, so I'll prob do that as well. 🙂
