Aphonopelma bicoloratum
'Sol', Aphonopelma bicoloratum SAF. This is my fourth and largest of these guys, a really wonderful species!
I am quite fond of mine as well. It is only about 2.5"
I'm really enamored with this species, goes without saying that their colour is stunning and the ones I have show quite the range of personalities. This lady is around 4" and calm as can be, I have two smaller females that are real skittish, and a roughly 2.5" male that is extremely reclusive & very defensive indeed.

Wow amazing looks so similar to Brachypelma boehmei probably just as slow growing 😆!!

Even slower growing! They do look similar in many ways, main differences are that these guys are all-round orange as said above, whilst the boehmei possess more intense, borderline reddish tones particularly on the legs. From what I've seen, boehmei are also a bit larger than bicoloratum.

I’ll probably get Brachypelma boehmei again if I find a way no desk jobs yet I’m looking. Plus I gotta convince parents or sneak them in which is hard . Phorid flies wiped my last 2 Brachypelma boehmei pair out .

Hope you have better luck in the future.
