I took several pictures of her carapace, but was unable to capture that shiny, pink iridescence over brown. The sunlight caught the pink and bounced that back.
This looks to be the mislabeled hobby "bicegoi" from Ecuador instead of the real Avicularia bicegoi from Manaus, Brazil. Avicularia bicegoi is now a junior synonym of Aviculariavariegata (ex. hobby "sp. amazonica" is morphotype #1). Unfortunately, some dealers just ignorantly updated their Avicularia bicegoi label to Aviculariavariegata without reading Fukushima & Bertani 2017. If they had, I bet they'd rather easily conclude based on locality and description that these hobby "bicegoi" are not the Avic described as such.

As Arasy has developed adult colors, it was not quite what I was expecting. When I saw another poster’s picture of his A bicegoi, I questioned if these were one and the same. You’ve confirmed my suspicions here. I’ll update to A bicegoi Equador. Thank you.
