So, I have a technique for fossorials to sex them where I'll keep them in a 0.5g mainstay until I can get a sexable molt. What ends up happening is they'll either build a large enough burrow entrance that I can reach in to grab it or they'll do like this one did and make their home on top of the substrate when they get larger as it's still a tight space between the lid and top of the sub. It can be a bit dicey for a few months whenever you open the enclosure, but it's the best way I've found to get molts consistently.
