I think she’s still a subadult, but I measured her at 4.75”. I’m not ready for breeding projects yet, nor lots of leg warmers, lol. The person that sold me Wei as a presumed she offered to send me a female for free when he hooked out. Unfortunately, that ended up as about 10 weeks of saying he was shipping her, but never did. After getting excited and let down so many times, I just bought this beauty at the expo. She is perfect. She seems to love to stick those gorgeous toes in her water dish every time she comes over to see if I brought crickets. It amazes me how she looks like sunlight through the trees when she’s on the ground. I’m just overjoyed to have her.
Should call your little lava lady Te Kā after the lava lady on moana I ended up calling my little lava baby Opal after the beautiful fire Opal lol .
Really happy you got the irminia lady though she's gorgeous and I can't wait for her to be named , all t's should have names as kick a** as they are n irminia kick hard
Can I suggest Komorebi it's what the Japanese call it when the light shines through the trees in a forest... just going off her reminding you of this ... made sense in my head lol
Same hah. I thought my girl was subadult and then she made me fake eggs. She was about 4.5" at the time so...definitely possible heh. Wish I was ready for all those legwarmers, they're so darn cute, but yeah.
Absolutely gorgeous species, glad you have a lady to admire in person. My Irma never disappoints.

Ooh, that is nice. I’ve named all the others from the peoples where they are from. Wei is a Pemón name and I was looking at a Kali’na name for this lady. I’ll have to think about that one though. Thanks!!

Ooof! I kinda had the feeling maaaaybe this was as big as she was getting. I was hoping her slowness and dullness signaled a coming molt. If not, she is just fabulous the way she is. It’s funny, my daughter said, “You should name her Irma”. I said, “Already taken,”lol.
Sadly, I missed the leg warmers stage on both my irminias. Maybe if I can find Wei a date.
